Back to School Exclusive!

Can you believe it’s almost time for school again?! The stores are stocking school supplies already and we’re all starting to think about all the things we need to get for our kiddos to prepare them for the 2010-2011 school year. My goal this year is to try and make a lunch for my child every day to encourage his already healthy eating habits. This, of course, requires planning on my part so I guess it’s time for me to start back with my “weekly meal plans” and cooking a little extra each night for him to have the next day at school. Lucky for me he loves raw veggies, so that’ll be the easy part!
To make his lunch carrying more fun, and my lunch box cleaning a little easier, he’ll soon be receiving his own personalized lunch box and you can too! For a limited time Camille Cooper Photography is offering a Back to School Mini Session* which includes a 30-minute session, two high-resolution session images on a disk and a lunch box customized with your favorite session photo for your child for only $125.00!
These lunch boxes are so cool! The faceplates are removable and waterproof for easy cleaning. The entire lunchbox is dishwasher safe – no more funky lunchbox smells! They are BPA FREE, which means no leaching of harmful chemicals into your child’s food. The containers are antimicrobial so there should be no growing of bacteria should you forgot to clean it out over the weekend. And they are available in three vibrant colors – orange, pink and blue! Bonus: You can move the handle to carry the lunch box either horizontal OR vertical! How cool is that?
* Pricing is for one child only. Please inquire for pricing for multiple children.
* Session location must be in Joaquin/Haslam, Logansport, or Center. For other locations, a location fee will apply.

This handsome little guy decided to make his debut a little early. Luckily, mom and I had already been in contact with one another and had his session ready – all we needed was him! Here he is at a whopping 7 days old. =) Enjoy your sneak peek, mom and dad! I’ll have the rest of them ready for you very soon!

I was very fortunate to see this sweet baby again last week. I haven’t seen him since his newborn session last year, so I was amazed at ALL of the curly hair he has!! This little guy has a big story, so it was truly an honor to photograph him again. Be sure to scroll down to the last one – my favorite!!

I had the pleasure of photographing this beauty last week. To say that her Mommy and Daddy are “in love” is an understatement! It was clear that this sweet girl is going to receive so much love in her life, which I think is just AWESOME! Dad even mentioned that she is already completely wrapped around his finger.
Thank you L and D for choosing me for this special moment in your life. Give Miss G and that sweet dog, Miss T, a hug from me! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Look at this precious little girl! She was so serious for most of the session. When we put her on my new blanket she really got serious, and curious, and was checking out that black and white pattern in front her face. It was so cute.

Then her momma tickled her and got her laughing. Look at that sweet dimple.

Sporting her FABULOUS tutu (made by mom)!

Last Christmas I gave away a session on my Facebook fan page and these were the lucky winners! We were rained out and had to reschedule a few times, but I think it was worth the wait!

When we lived in Dallas, the view of my daily drive was looking at someone’s bumper and passing by store after store, building after building. It was simply, a concrete jungle. Every now and then there would be that one spot in the middle of that jungle where someone had held onto their land and all you would see was pasture. Gorgeous green pasture. I loved looking at those pastures. In the midst of the chaos and stress, they were peaceful and calming.
These days, I don’t just live in the country. I live in the sticks, in the country. I don’t hear traffic. I don’t hear airplanes. I hear birds. I don’t see buildings, stores and concrete. I see pasture, trees and a dirt road. I see the beauty of God’s work. No chaos. No stress.

The “A Team” had their spring session last week. I love seeing them and seeing how much they change from session to session. The baby is sitting up now, the toddler is as busy as she was last fall (momma got a workout!) and the older girls are prettier than ever. Here’s your sneak peek, mom!

So, I’ve decided to make this blog a little more personal. It’s too cold and stale for me. Don’t get me wrong – the sneak peeks aren’t cold and stale. I love them! I just think there needs to be more. I want to interact with my readers (if I have any!) so I can get to know you and so you can get to know me. So with that, meet my son…
Kindergarten, and age 5, definitely changed him. He’s becoming more and more of a “boy”. He loves to play: Lego’s, army, and army with Lego’s. He loves Star Wars – oh but that’s not new. The Husband introduced him to the original Trilogy at age 3. A little young for me, but he handled it well and has been a SW fan from that day forward. He loves the dirt, the mud, and exploring.
My pride and joy recently turned 6. It sounds so cliché to say something like “it’s amazing at how fast he has grown up”, but it’s TRUE! He’s still my baby and always will be. He’s sweet, he’s smart, he’s thoughtful. He is my heart outside of my body. When I was a child my mom used to tell me, “I love you more than you’ll ever know.” She was right. Now it’s my turn to tell him, “I love you more than you’ll ever know.”
My friend and fellow photographer, Holly Bonner, took pictures of his party for me. If you have kids and you’ve tried to be in the moment and take pictures at the same time, you know that it’s pretty much impossible. So thank you, Holly! Thank you for letting me be in the moment.
The cupcakes – right after I iced them, but before the sprinkles.

With his friend (or as he calls her, his “girlfriend”). They’re a whopping 13 days apart. The husband and I went to college with her parents, which means we’ve known each other FOREVER. I look at this photo and I can’t help but see them as teenagers walking side-by-side just like this.

and last but not least…..I bet you can’t guess who won the musical chairs contest?! And NO, it was not fixed!!
